Abstract (en)
The region (2) carrying the yarn is conical, e.g. with a taper angle (alpha ) relative to the axis (11) of 1.5 to 3 [deg] and has a rough surface. The bottom flange (3) is a truncated cone made in one piece with the yarn region (2) and includes a device for holding the yarn end. This can be an axially sliding ring (9) that can trap the yarn in a slot formed with a cylindrical section (5). The yarn end can also be held on an adhesive surface. The yarn region (2) is formed by a hollow tube, which should deflect no more than 0.1 to 0.2 mm under a yarn winding load (14) of 15 N/mm 2>. The yarn can be precision wound to give a yarn package with a Shore hardness between 60 and 70 [deg].
