[origin: FR2864596A1] The method involves molding a braking unit with an opening for passage of screw intended to tighten the braking unit between a wheel and a hub of a motor vehicle, while assuring eventual presence of flashes in zones of opening. The opening has diameter greater than diameter of screw of the wheels. A recess is formed on the braking unit. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a casting model for molding a braking unit (B) a core intended to cooperate with the casting model (C) a mold for manufacturing a shell of the casting model (D) a mold for manufacturing core (E) a motor vehicle comprising a braking unit.
