Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2006002941A2] The aim of the invention is to develop potential images (charge images) created on a potential image support. Said aim is achieved by delivering liquid developer to the potential image support (101) with the aid of an applicator roll (201). Said liquid developer is provided with low viscosity and is composed of a low-viscous carrier liquid with toner particles that are dispersed therein. The potential images are inked well on the potential image support at a great printing speed as a result of the high degree of movability of the toner particles in the liquid developer.
