Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2007000002A1] The invention relates to a method for production of polyester resins containing nanodisperse nanoscale additives as binder for powder paints, whereby firstly at least one precursor compound for nanoscale solid particles to be formed is added to the reaction starting materials during the resin synthesis and distributed in the reaction starting materials. The precursor compound(s) which may be reacted at a temperature between 30° and 260° C, preferably between 80° and 250° C, are reacted to give the desired nanoscale solid particles under the effect of a reaction temperature in the range between 30° and 260° C, preferably between 80° and 250° C, the nanoscale solid particles thus formed being nanodispersedly distributed in the polyester resin.
