The device (1) has a packing material dispenser arrangement (5) with packing web material rollers (6.1-6.3), and a guidance device (3) for guiding packing web materials (4.1-4.3) from the individual rollers to a packing station (7). A guide plate arrangement (11) has guide plates (12-12.8) for guiding the web materials to a common guidance area (13) in guidance direction. A fluid flow producing unit (17) produces a directed fluid flow i.e. air flow, to a surface of the individual guide plates, where the surface points to the web materials. An independent claim is also included for a method for packing web material rolls by wrapping with a packing material in a packing station.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (1) zum Verpacken von Materialbahnrollen (2) durch Umhüllen mit Verpackungsmaterial (4) in einer Wickelstation (7), umfassend eine Verpackungsmaterialspenderanordnung (5) mit mindestens einer Verpackungsmaterialbahnrolle (6.1-6.n, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3) und eine Führungsvorrichtung (3) zur Führung der Verpackungsmaterialbahnen (4.1-4.n, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6) von den einzelnen Verpackungsmaterialbahnrollen (6.1-6.n, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3) zur Wickelstation (7), umfassend eine Leitblechanordnung (11) mit wenigstens zwei Leitblechen (12, 12.1, 12.2, 12.3, 12.4, 12.5, 12.6, 12.7, 12.8), welche ausgangsseitig in Führungsrichtung der Verpackungsmaterialbahn (4.1-4.n, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6) betrachtet die einzelne Verpackungsmaterialbahn (4.1-4.n, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6) einem gemeinsamen Führungsbereich (13) zuführen. Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Mittel (17) zur Erzeugung einer gerichteten Fluidströmung an einer zur Verpackungsmaterialbahn (4.1-4.n, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6) weisenden Oberfläche (19, 19.11, 19.21, 19.22, 19.31, 19.32, 19.41, 19.42, 19.51, 19.11 - 19.nn) des einzelnen Leitblechs (12, 12.1, 12.2, 12.3, 12.4, 12.5, 12.6, 12.7, 12.8) vorgesehen sind.
