Abstract (en)
The device has an endless circulating output conveyor belt (4) accepting card webs that are laid on the output conveyor belt by a fleece-laying machine (2), where the webs form a non-woven material. A drive unit (24) drives the belt at a variable speed. Another drive unit (40) drives the belt at a constant speed, where the latter drive unit is arranged at a point relative to the former drive unit and closer to a consolidation device (20) e.g. needle loom. The belt has a hanging section acting as a hanging storage buffer and located between the drive units. An independent claim is also included for a method for transferring a non-woven material from a fleece-laying machine to a consolidation device.

Die Vorrichtung zur Übergabe eines Vlieses von einem Vliesleger (2) an eine Verfestigungseinrichtung (20) weist ein endlos umlaufendes Abliefertransportband (4) des Vlieslegers (2) zur Aufnahme der zu einem Vlies gelegten Florbahnen auf, wobei mindestens eine erste Antriebseinrichtung (24) zum Antreiben des Abliefertransportbands (4) mit variabler Geschwindigkeit vorgesehen ist. Außerdem ist bezüglich der ersten Antriebseinrichtung (24) näher an der Verfestigungseinrichtung (20) eine zweite Antriebseinrichtung (40) zum Antreiben des Abliefertransportbands (4) mit im wesentlichen konstanter Geschwindigkeit vorgesehen, und in einem Abschnitt zwischen der ersten Antriebseinrichtung (24) und der zweiten Antriebseinrichtung (40) ist ein Durchhangspeicher des Abliefertransportbands (4) ausgebildet.
