[origin: EP2210521A2] The method involves injecting a brush body in an injection molding operation. The brush body is made up of plastic material. The bristle bundles are embedded into the surrounding brush body with their fastening side ends. The brush body is made up of a material contrastive with the material of the bristle bundles. The brush is reviewed optically for the presence of an overmolding after the solidification of the plastic material. The overmolding penetrates in the bristle bundles. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus for manufacturing a brush, particularly a toothbrush.
