Composition comprises: (a) an ester of fatty acid mixture comprising at least 80 wt.% of oleic acid and 2-8C polyol having 2-4 hydroxyl groups; (b) an ester of fatty acid mixture comprising at least 80 wt.% of oleic acid and oxoalcohol mixture consisting of an alcohol (I) and/or (II); and (c) ester of fatty acid mixture comprising at least 80 wt.% of oleic acid and an alcohol (III). Composition comprises: (a) an ester of fatty acid mixture comprising at least 80 wt.% of oleic acid and 2-8C polyol having 2-4 hydroxyl groups; (b) an ester of fatty acid mixture comprising at least 80 wt.% of oleic acid and oxoalcohol mixture consisting of an alcohol of formula (R1-CH(CH 3)-CH 2OH) (I) and/or an alcohol of formula (R1-(CH 2) 3-OH) (II); and (c) ester of fatty acid mixture comprising at least 80 wt.% of oleic acid and an alcohol of formula (R3-(CH 2) 2-CH(R1)-CH 2OH) (III), where the total number of carbon in alcohol is 8-32C. R1 : at least one methyl group branched 6-14C alkyl; R2 : 2-15C linear alkyl; and R3 : 1-18C linear alkyl. An independent claim is included for preparing the composition, comprising mixing the components (a)-(c), optional component (d) including at least one antioxidant such as aminic antioxidant, component (e) including at least one extreme pressure/antiwear additive such as dialkylthiocarbamate and/or additives such as antioxidant, antiwear agents, foam suppressing agents, corrosion inhibitors, dispersing agents, viscosity index enhancer and/or pour-point depressors.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Zusammensetzung, welche A) Ester aus einem Fettsäuregemisch, enthaltend mindestens 80 Gew.% Ölsäure, und einem Polyol, B) Ester aus einem Fettsäuregemisch, enthaltend mindestens 80 Gew.-% Ölsäure, und einem Oxoalkoholgemisch, und C) Ester aus einem Fettsäuregemisch, enthaltend mindestens 80 Gew.-% Ölsäure, und einem Alkohol, umfasst. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung dieser Zusammensetzung, umfassend das Vermischen der Komponenten, sowie die Verwendung der Zusammensetzung als Schmiermittel.
