Abstract (en)
The method for producing burn-up bodies (5) from a wool strand (1) e.g. wool rope, which is soaked with paraffin in a wax bath (4) and from which the burn-up bodies are separated after a cooling, comprises immersing the wool strand winded to a roller (3) into the wax bath at a melting temperature of 50-65[deg] C, removing the wool strand from the wax bath after a predetermined retention period resulting from strength and humidity of the wool strand, cooling the wool strand and then unwinding the wool strand from the roller after solidification of the admitted wax. The method for producing burn-up bodies (5) from a wool strand (1) e.g. wool rope, which is soaked with paraffin in a wax bath (4) and from which the burn-up bodies are separated after a cooling, comprises immersing the wool strand winded to a roller (3) into the wax bath at a melting temperature of 50-65[deg] C, removing the wool strand from the wax bath after a predetermined retention period resulting from strength and humidity of the wool strand, cooling the wool strand and then unwinding the wool strand from the roller after solidification of the admitted wax, where the individual pieces having predetermined lengths are separated as burn-up bodies from the wool strand. The roller is cooled at 25-30[deg] C before winding and separating the individual pieces as burn-up bodies. Ten rollers are simultaneously and parallelly winded by the wool strand and are supplied to a common separation device, in which the individual pieces are separated as burn-up bodies from the wool strand. The wool strand is encased with a thread, strip, mesh or fabric before winding to the roller, where loose wool is initially guided through a press mold under simultaneous compression for the production or formation of the wool strand and then the wool strand leaving the press mold is encased with the thread, strip, mesh or fabric. An independent claim is included for a burn-up body.
