Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2930330A1] The method involves dividing a fluid drawn from a column of a double column into three parts. One part of the fluid is released in a turbine (47), and another part of the fluid is boosted in a cold compressor (51) and sent to a vessel vaporizer. Third part of the fluid is sent to an upper vaporizer without modifying pressure in downstream of the column. A gaseous flow is sent to an intermediate vaporizer (21). The flow is constituted of cold, purified and compressed air or air drawn from the column of the double column and compressed in a cold compressor. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus for separating air by cryogenic distillation.
