Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2180385A1] The method involves providing a partially amorphous material constituting an element of a timepiece, and forming the element by die-stamping at a temperature ranging between a glass transition temperature and a crystallization temperature. The element is cooled to solidify the element, and the element is recovered. The element is obtained by forming a preform with the material, placing the preform between matrices having inserts, and by exerting pressure on the preform using the matrices during a preset time to replicate shapes of the matrices on respective faces of the preform.
