The apparatus has a suction box attached to a suction tape conveyor (15) i.e. horizontal conveyor, which is movable by a mechanical drive (17) e.g. linear drive or cam plate drive. A pressing mechanism (20) is movable transverse to a suction belt of the suction tape conveyor for transferring workpieces in to a stacking cartridge (19) or stacking stations. The suction tape conveyor and the suction box are connected in series. The stacking cartridge is arranged in a driving direction of the suction tape conveyor, where the workpiece is produced from a sheet of a packaging material.

Eine Stapelbildevorrichtung zum Stapeln von flachen Werkstücken, die aus einer Bahn aus einem Verpackungsmaterial durch Stanzung hergestellt sind, vorzugsweise Werkstücke aus einer Kunststofffolie soll so gestaltet werden, dass kantengerade Stapel gebildet werden, wobei die Anzahl der gebildeten Stapel pro Zeiteinheit relativ hoch sein soll, da die zu stapelnden Werkstücke in äußerst großen Stückzahlen benötigt werden, da daraus Massenprodukte hergestellt werden. Erfindungsgemäß ist die Stapelbildevorrichtung mit mindestens einem Saugbandförderer (15) in Form eines Horizontalförderers ausgestattet. Diesem Horizontalförderer ist ein Saugkasten zugeordnet, der mittels eines Antriebes (17) oszillierend und horizontal verfahrbar ist. Die zu stapelnden Werkstücke werden mittels eines quer zum Saugband des Saugbandförderers (15) verfahrbaren Abdrücker (20) in Stapelkassetten (19) oder Stapelstationen (28) überführt Vorzugsweise sind mehrere Saugbandförderer (15) und Saugkästen hintereinander geschaltet, und jedem Saugbandförderer (15) sind mehrere säulenförmige Stapelkassetten (19) zugeordnet, die in Laufrichtung des Saugbandförderers (15) und quer dazu angeordnet sind. Die erfindungsgemäße Stapelbildevorrichtung ist besonders für Abschnitte verwendbar, die aus einer Folienbahn gestanzt wurden.
