Abstract (en)

The method involves detecting whether side surfaces (12, 14) of a parallelogram shaped board (4) are offset relative to each other in a rolling direction (6) during discharging the board from a rolling stand (2). Guide elements (16, 18) are asymmetrically adjusted relative to a middle line (M) after centering during a rolling pass when the side surfaces are offset relative to each other. One of the guide elements (18) for one of the side surfaces (14), which enters into the stand as first during the rolling pass, is displaced from the middle line as the other guide element. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program comprising instructions for performing a method for rolling boards by a rolling stand (2) a data carrier comprising instructions for performing a method for rolling boards by a rolling stand (3) a control device.

Ein störungsfreier Betrieb eine Anlage zum Walzen von Platten (4) oder Blechen, wenn diese ihre rechteckige Form verloren haben und die Form eines Parallelogramms aufweisen, wird gewährleistet, indem ein Schwenken der Platte (4) beim Einlaufen in ein Walzgerüst (2), verhindert wird. Ein erster Walzstich wird durchgeführt und beim Auslaufen der Platte aus dem Walzgerüst wird bestimmt, ob die Seitenflächen (12, 14) der Platte (4) in Walzrichtung zueinander versetzt sind. Wenn die Seitenflächen (12, 14) der Platte (4) in Walzrichtung (6) zueinander versetzt sind, d.h. wenn die Platte (4) parallelogrammförmig ist und eine schräge Stirnseite aufweist, werden bei einem zweiten Walzstich Führungselemente (12, 14) des Walzgerüsts (2) asymmetrisch in Bezug auf eine Mittellinie (M) eingestellt. Dabei wird ein erstes Führungselement (18) für die Seitenfläche (14), die beim zweiten Walzstich als erste in das Walzgerüst (2) einläuft, weiter von der Mittellinie (M) als das zweite Führungselement (16) verstellt.
