Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2565328A2] The barrier (1) has barrier bodies (A, B) engageable with each other by a coupling element. One of the bodies is supported at an end-sided bearing arrangement (8) by a horizontal pivot axle (10) and vertically pivotable from a closed position to an open position (a2). A gap formed between front ends (4a, 4b) of the bodies is partially bridged by a side flange (6a) in the closed position. The flange is formed at one of the bodies. Inclination angles (c1, c2) between the front end and a top side (7) of one body and the front end and a lower side (2) of another body are less than 90 degrees. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle retention system.
