[origin: WO2012038644A1] The embodiments of the present invention relate to a method for correcting an asymmetry in a delay of synchronization messages transmitted within a network for switching packets between a master clock and a slave clock, in which the asymmetry in the delay of the path connecting the master clock to the slave clock is determined and locally corrected at at least one link of said path by means of a means for measuring and correcting a time shift, said means being located on the nodes of the path.
