Abstract (en)
The method involves providing a conducting element (7) carried-out in a single part, and presenting a tubular portion (13) that extends along a longitudinal direction. A stripped terminal section and a punt portion (15) are inserted into the tubular portion through an insertion opening. The tubular portion is connected, at an end opposed to the opening, with the punt portion by a transition portion (14). The transition portion is deformed till the transition portion forms a right base wall for the tubular portion, where the wall extends perpendicular to the direction of the tubular portion. The punt portion is arranged to cooperate with a predetermined electric terminal. An independent claim is also included for a connection device to be crimped on a stripped terminal section of an electric cable.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un dispositif de connexion à sertir sur un tronçon terminal dénudé de câble électrique, comportant l'étape de fournir un élément conducteur (7) réalisé en une seule pièce et présentant une portion tubulaire (13), une ouverture d'introduction par laquelle il est prévu d'introduire dans ladite portion tubulaire (13) ledit tronçon terminal dénudé et une portion plate (15) configurée pour coopérer avec une borne électrique prédéterminée, ladite portion tubulaire (13) étant reliée, à une extrémité opposée à ladite ouverture d'introduction, par une portion de transition (14), à ladite portion plate (15) ; ledit procédé comportant une étape de déformation de ladite portion de transition (14) jusqu'à ce que ladite portion de transition (14) forme une paroi de fond sensiblement droite de ladite portion tubulaire (13), où ladite paroi de fond s'étend sensiblement perpendiculairement à ladite portion tubulaire (13).
