[origin: WO2013034286A1] The invention relates to a round scoop-proof plug connector comprising a socket with a socket contact body with coax socket contacts, comprising a socket sleeve which receives the socket contact body, said socket contact body having multiple coding recesses, and comprising a plug which has a multipolar pin body with coax pin contacts, said pin body extending into the plug-side receiving space of the plug sleeve which surrounds the plug. The plug sleeve forms at least three coding ribs (or coding projections), which correspond to the coding recesses, on the plug sleeve inner circumference in the receiving space of the plug. Each of the at least three coding ribs forms a guiding surface at the plug-side end of the coding ribs, said guiding surfaces together forming a bearing surface for the socket sleeve end face which is designed as a counter bearing. The guiding surfaces span a common plane such that the plug end face rests on the guiding surfaces when plugged together with the socket and the plug can be brought into the plug orientation in which the plug can be connected to the socket by rotating the end face on the guiding surfaces, wherein the coding ribs can engage into the corresponding coding recesses.
