[origin: WO2013159238A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for creating a product flow from product units (9) in a predefined sequence. The device contains a first conveying device (1) with a grouping section (G) for creating a clocked product flow of product units (9) from fed-in products (8) in a predefined sequence. The device further contains a discharge conveying device (3) for conveying the product units (9) away in the predefined sequence in a clocked product flow. According to the invention, the device (1) contains a bypass device (5) that is configured such that, by bypassing a conveying path section of the discharge conveying device (3), product units (9b) can be fed to the discharge conveying device (3) in a temporally subsequent manner and thus can be sorted into the predetermined sequence of product units (9).
