Vorgestellt wird ein Kraftfahrzeugscheinwerfer (10) mit wenigstens einer Halbleiterlichtquelle (14) und einer Primäroptik (16) die dazu eingerichtet ist von der Halbleiterlichtquelle (16) ausgehendes Licht zu sammeln und auf eine Sekundäroptik (18) zu richten, wobei die Primäroptik (16) das Licht der Lichtquelle (14) über eine Lichteintrittsfläche (26) aufnimmt und über eine Lichtaustrittsfläche (28) auskoppelt und wobei die Primäroptik (16) einen Anbindungsflansch (42) aufweist, mit der sie in einer Halterung (34) in wenigstens zwei Festlagern (52) gehalten ist, die in einer ersten Ebene angeordnet sind, die parallel und mit einem Abstand (a) zu einer zweiten Ebene liegt, in der die Lichteintrittsfläche liegt. Der Kraftfahrzeugscheinwerfer zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass ein erster Abschnitt (44) des Anbindungsflansches (42) kuppelartig gewölbt ist.
