The present invention relates to a method and system for dynamic configuring and reconfiguring a multimedia reproduction system comprising two or more sound channels. The premises of the configuring based on the position of one or more listeners and the one or more sound channels in the reproduction system. In addition, the configuring includes portable devices for audio/video sources and audio/video rendering equipment.
