[origin: WO2017144227A1] Inline roll change with a simple roll stand design. In order to remove working rolls from a roll stand, which furthermore comprises an additional roll in each case above and below the working rolls, the upper working roll chocks (21, 22) and the upper additional roll chocks (23, 24) are first connected to one another such that each vertical movement of the upper additional roll chocks (23, 24) is transmitted to the upper working roll chocks (21, 22). The upper additional roll is then moved upwards to a first defined additional roll position (pZI). Next, the upper and the lower working roll are moved out of the roll stand frame.

Zum Ausbauen von Arbeitswalzen (14, 15) aus einem Walzgerüst, das weiterhin oberhalb und unterhalb der Arbeitswalzen (14, 15) je eine Zusatzwalze (16, 17) aufweist, werden zunächst die oberen Arbeitswalzeneinbaustücke (21, 22) und die oberen Zusatzwalzeneinbaustücke (23, 24) miteinander verbunden, so dass jede Vertikalbewegung der oberen Zusatzwalzeneinbaustücke (23, 24) auf die oberen Arbeitswalzeneinbaustücke (21, 22) übertragen wird. Danach wird die obere Zusatzwalze (16) nach oben auf eine erste definierte Zusatzwalzenposition (pZ1) verfahren. Sodann werden die obere und die untere Arbeitswalze (14, 15) aus dem Walzgerüstständer (18) herausgefahren.
