[origin: WO2016180520A1] The invention relates to a processing unit for a machine for deburring a flat work piece, wherein the processing unit strokes over the surface of the work piece to be deburred, having a flat carrier plate (6), a package of rectangular, flexible abrasive sheets (10), which are arranged parallel to each other on the carrier plate (6) and extend crosswise to the direction of movement of the processing unit (1). The abrasive sheets (10) are fastened at an angle against the direction of movement, inclined on the carrier plate (6), such that the abrasive sheets fan out in the region of the lower edge thereof.
