[origin: WO2017200603A1] A system and method for automatically monitoring a request indicated in an electronic document. The method includes analyzing the electronic document to determine at least one request parameter, wherein the electronic document includes at least partially unstructured data; creating, based on the analysis of the electronic document, a request template for the electronic document, wherein the request template is a structured dataset including the determined at least one request parameter; setting, based on the created request template, a timer, wherein the timer is set at least with respect to a time of submission of the request; and upon expiration of the timer, determining, based on the created request template, a status of the request.
