[origin: US2019157028A1] A low-voltage multipolar circuit breaker includes a moulded housing including a main body that is divided into interior compartments, each associated with one pole of the circuit breaker, and a cover that is mounted on the main body covering a main face of the body. The circuit breaker includes, for each pole, electrical contacts that can be separated by a device of a switching mechanism and an arc-extinguishing chamber. For at least two of the poles, the main face includes an additional aperture, each placed directly above the spark guard of the corresponding pole and placing the arc-extinguishing chamber of this pole in communication with the interior volume delimited by the cover and the main face, and the cover is attached to the main body while leaving a peripheral opening between the cover and the main body, placing the interior volume in communication with the exterior of the housing.

Ce disjoncteur (2) multipolaire à basse tension comporte un boîtier moulé incluant un corps principal divisé en compartiments intérieurs chacun associé à un pôle (12, 14, 16) du disjoncteur et un capot monté sur le corps principal recouvrant une face principale (22) du corps.Le disjoncteur comporte, pour chaque pôle, des contacts électriques séparables par un mécanisme de commutation et une chambre de coupure.Pour au moins deux des pôles, la face principale comporte un orifice additionnel (18, 20) chacun placé à l'aplomb du pare étincelle du pôle correspondant et mettant en communication la chambre de coupure de ce pôle avec le volume intérieur délimité par le capot et la face principale, et le capot est fixé sur le corps principal en laissant une ouverture périphérique entre le capot et le corps principal mettant en communication le volume intérieur avec l'extérieur du boîtier.
