Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum einspurigen oder mehrspurigen Bereitstellen von bahnförmigem Zwischenblattmaterial an einem Schneidbereich, in welchem einspurig oder mehrspurig zugeführte Produkte in Scheiben geschnitten und Zwischenblätter eingebracht werden, die im Schneidbereich von dem bereitgestellten Zwischenblattmaterial abgetrennt werden, mit einer Abnahmeeinrichtung, die zu einem Abnehmen der Materialbahn von einem Materialvorrat ausgebildet ist, und mit einem Schlaufenspeicher, in welchem die Materialbahn eine Schlaufe mit einem einlaufseitigen Schlaufenteil und einem auslaufseitigen Schlaufenteil bildet, wobei der Schlaufenspeicher einen Aufnahmeraum für die Schlaufe bereitstellt, dessen eine Seite eine Auflage für den einen Schlaufenteil und dessen der Auflage gegenüberliegende Seite eine Begrenzung für den anderen Schlaufenteil bildet.
