Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020077378A1] The invention relates to a profiling station (2), a profiling unit (5) formed therefrom and also a profiling system (1) for the continuous forming of a strip of material (3) into a profile. The profiling station (2) comprises a framework (10), a profiling arrangement (11) with a former roll (12) and also a first and a second counter roll (13, 14) as well as a drive unit (23). A first roll axis (15) and a second roll axis (17) of the counter rolls (13, 14) form between them a buckling angle (21), wherein the counter rolls (13, 14) define a bending edge (22) for the strip of material (3) to undergo forming. The first counter roll (13) and also the second counter roll (14) are driven by the drive unit (23) in such a way that the first counter roll (13) has a circumferential speed at its outer circumference and the second counter roll (14) has a circumferential speed at its outer circumference that are equal to one another.
