Said cable guide device can be arranged in an arrangement having a slack side, a tight side and a deflection region connecting said sides and having a deflection axis. At least a longitudinal portion of the guide apparatus or the entire length of said apparatus, by means of which said guide apparatus guides the cable guide device in the longitudinal direction thereof, is designed so as to have a C-curved guide region having a curvature axis of the C-curve and having a convex curve inner curvature and a concave curve outer curvature. The guide apparatus has a deflection device having a deflection axis, wherein the deflection region of the cable guide device is guided around the deflection device, the axis of the deflection device encloses an angle with the curvature axis of the C-curved guide region of the guide apparatus, wherein one of the side boundaries of the cable guide device is arranged so as to face the concavely curved outside of the C-curved guide region of the guide apparatus.
