The terminal (100) comprises a socket support (104) and at least one socket (106), each of which comprises a first contact arm (108) that is secured to the socket support (104) and a second contact arm (112) that is secured to the first contact arm (108) via a spring elastic connection (110). The second contact arm (112) can be pivoted between a vacant position and an occupied position in the area between the first contact arm (108) and the socket support (104). In the vacant position, the second contact arm (112) is arranged at a first distance to the socket support (104), and in the occupied position, the second contact arm (112) is arranged at a second distance to the socket support (104), said second distance being shorter than the first distance.
