Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Umreifungsgebinde (1) mit mindestens zwei Artikeln (2), die mit mindestens einem die Artikel (2) vollständig umfangenden vorkonfektionierten geschlossenen Umreifungsband (5) zusammengehalten sind. Das mindestens eine geschlossene Umreifungsband (5) weist eine Umfangslänge (U5) auf, die größer ist als ein Außenumfang (A3) der umfangenen Artikel (2) des Umreifungsgebindes (1). Das mindestens eine geschlossene Umreifungsband (5) wird an wenigstens einer Stelle unter Ausbildung einer Schlaufe (8) straffgezogen und die dadurch gebildete umgelegte und an eine Außenseite des (9) gelegte Schlaufe (8) wird mittels Haftmittelverbindung an einem von der Schlaufe (8) abgedeckten Bereich des Umreifungsbandes (5) fixiert. Das Umreifungsband (5) weist in dem die Schlaufe (8) ausbildenden umgelegten Abschnitt mindestens eine Aussparung (6) auf, wobei sich die Haftmittelverbindung in dem mit der Aussparung (6) versehenen Abschnitt befindet.
