Abstract (en)
The present invention concerns a method for drawing, straightening and cutting steel wire into bars suitable for use in fence panels, comprising the sequential steps of: (i) providing a steel wire; (ii) drawing the steel wire through a rolling cassette until a predetermined diameter is reached, the rolling cassette comprising two successive sets of three rollers, such that a second set of rollers is positioned downstream of a first set of rollers; (iii) the rolling up and cooling of the steel wire; (iv) unrolling and straightening the steel wire; and (v) cutting the steel wire into bars; where the steps i. to v. continue continuously.
