Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Erwärmen, insbesondere Wiedererwärmen, eines Zwischenbands (2) beim Herstellen eines Flachbands, wobei das Zwischenband (2) durch Induktionsmodulköpfe (12) von Induktionsmodulen (10) eines Induktionsofens (1), insbesondere einer Walzanlage bevorzugt einer Stahlband-Herstellanlage, erwärmt wird, und die Induktionsmodulköpfe (12) gemäß wenigstens eines aktuellen Parameters des Zwischenbands (2) am/im Induktionsofen (1) mechanisch angestellt werden.
